Presenter: Matthew Kaplan, Ph.D., Professor Intergenerational Programs and Aging Department of Agricultural Economics, Sociology and Education Penn State University

Description: The term “grandfamilies” refers to families with relative caregivers raising children. These families often face a host of emotional, legal, financial, and daily living challenges. These intervention efforts provide emotional and instrumental support for family members and guidance for inter-agency collaboration leading to more extensive and timely services.
